So today is the first entry of 2010. So far it has been a cold and snowy new year, and we have not spent much time outside.
Today is also the first day of mommy returning to work, so you and I are readjusting to being home alone together. I think we both got a little spoiled by having mommy home with us for two weeks.
We all had a wonderful Christmas/New Years vacation together, and it is a little sad for it to come to an end.

Around The House PART I
Cold and snowy...cold and snowy! It is definitely winter here, and we have been spending a good deal of time inside lately. I think we both miss our daily walks and outings. So in the absence of exciting adventures to document, today I decided to record some of the more mundane parts of our days together at home. I don't want to forget these moments either.
Around The House PART II
So of course we do alot of eating and changing diapers when we hang out around the house, but we also do lots of other fun stuff. For example, you love to turn the stereo on...and off...and on again. It's usually the first thing you want to do when you come into the living room.
You also love to play with your new car, which was a Christmas present from grandma and grandpa. Sometimes you like to sit in it, sometimes you like to walk behind and push it, and sometimes you just like to put things in it, like your stuffed animals. When we first took it out of the box in West Virginia, it was in many pieces. This didn't stop you though. You just got right in and refused to get out for hours. I had to assemble it around you.

"NO"
Yesterday you mastered the use of the word "no", a very important addition to anyone's vocabulary. It has quickly become your favorite word to say. It's amazing how many things you can actually say "no" to.

Potty Time
So even though this will probably embarrass you for years to come, here is a video of you on your new potty. Most evenings, before bath time, you hang out for awhile on your potty while we read some books. I don't think you really understand what the potty is for yet, but it's a fun place to sit never the less.
